Our IT entity focuses on delivering value in two main parts: People and Hubs. In the People part, the domain delivers business capabilities ranging from Corporate Technology, Enterprise Content & Automation to Global Workplace services. Additionally, in the Hubs part, the domain will focus on creating and strengthening the relationship and collaboration with ING Hubs worldwide, explicitly focusing on the Tech community and creating governance around working with ING Hubs.The teamWe seek a highly skilled and experienced IT Area Lead to oversee our Enterprise Platform and Automation area (EP&A), which is part of the Corporate Technology IT department. The Corporate Technology department focuses on employee experience by delivering different services, platforms, and run-and-change activities that serve multiple business and tech functions, such as GHR, HRNL, GPS, CREM, CREFS, CDMO, Transformation Office, Tech WPS, Tech I&E, Corporate Communications, Corporate Legal, and Hubs. This senior management position is crucial for managing and maintaining our business assets, aligning with our central themes of reliability, security, and resilience. The role will primarily focus on Global services, ensuring that owned digital products and platforms are managed efficiently and effectively. EP&A focuses on managing and delivering global, scalable platforms to ING business lines.Roles and responsibilitiesYou are responsible for the IT continuity and availability of the services we deliver, the execution of the roadmap in further expanding our services and capability, as well as for onboarding new solutions and making sure they comply with our security standards. There is a strong focus on IT Risk, our business partner deal with personal and sensitive data, and plays a pivotal role in the future workforce strategy of the bank. You act as a role model towards the Chapter Leads and engineers regarding security and compliance.Next, you play an active role in sizeable global rollout programs, for example, the global rollout of Unified Service Portal where we facilitate the standardising of support ticketing processes globally and simplify our IT landscape. You are expected to safeguard our delivery programs, ensuring we deliver results. You are also responsible for managing the Euro’s and FTE’s budget and coach and develop our workforce.How to succeedWe hire smart people like you for your potential.   • Master’s degree in IT, computer science, data or comparable Master’s degree
  • 5-10 years’ professional experience at management level and relevant tech leadership experience. Ideally in large companies and corporate consulting experience.
  • You can handle end-to-end complex IT situations and deal with various types of stakeholders.
  • You are an engineer by education and or work experience.
  • You have a client-centric mindset, and you can build meaningful relationships with your business partners.
  • You can steer and empower teams of skilled IT engineers responsible for high-criticality applications.
  • You have
5-year experience in portfolio management/change management.
  • Excellent strategic management/decision taking-skills.
  • Empowering people management style and passionate about growing and developing technical talent and demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive cross-organisation teams
  • A mindset of openness and willingness to try new ways of working.
  • Predictable delivery of our software by squads in your area and live up to our promises concerning quality, timelines and features.
