We are seeking an Animal Facility Specialist to support daily operations within a research and pharmaceutical environment. In this role, you will ensure the well-being of laboratory animals while contributing to high-quality studies under GLP and GMP standards. The position is hands-on, combining technical procedures with animal care, and requires someone who is accurate, responsible, and passionate about animal welfare.Key Responsibilities
-Provide daily care, feeding, and cleaning of animal facilities according to strict welfare guidelines
-Perform biotechnical procedures, including anesthesia-related work when needed
-Monitor and report animal health and behavior changes
-Record procedures, data, and observations with accuracy and compliance
-Work according to SOPs, protocols, and regulatory standards (GLP/GMP)
-Carry out animal studies independently and contribute to reliable research outcomes
-Support and guide junior colleagues, interns, or temporary staff where necessaryRequirements-MBO-4 diploma with Art. 13f certification (required)
-Practical experience or strong interest in working with animals
-Knowledge of GLP/GMP quality systems
-Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and reliable approach
