As a Systems Integration Engineer, you are the driving force behind the collaboration between people, processes, and technology. You ensure that different disciplines fit together perfectly and that complex projects become clear and manageable. With your knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE), you create structure, connect people, and provide leadership so that specialists can focus fully on the content. You are an essential link between technology, contract management, clients, and the environment. In addition, you motivate and guide junior colleagues in the application of Systems Engineering. Your field of work is broad: from ProRail, NS, and light rail projects to Rijkswaterstaat and Tennet. These dynamic projects have a direct impact on society, and your role is crucial in ensuring that technical solutions actually contribute to social value. What will you be doing? As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will work on complex projects in all phases of the life cycle. You will translate customer requirements into technical solutions, maintain an overview of multidisciplinary designs, and ensure that concepts are analyzed and integrated. You will also support senior consultants on external assignments and contribute to winning new projects through tenders and quotations. In addition, you will delve into systems thinking and integration management together with Dutch and international colleagues. You will work on integration tests, draw up requirements and integration plans, and ensure that all parties involved can work together effectively. Whether it's implementing the European train safety system ERTMS, supervising metro and rail projects, or designing stations, your work makes a difference.
