AI Engineer

• Develop, build, and deploy. AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), including integration with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Apply frameworks for building scalable and modular AI solutions.
• Take ownership of the quality and reliability of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (including vessel-related) to understand business requirements, translate them into technical AI solutions, and ensure effective communication to maintain alignment and progress.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the (Gen)AI field.

• Hands-on experience and/ or certifications using Databricks and/or Azure AI foundry for LLM utilization, data processing, exploration, and AI development.
• Strong skills in Python in the context of building and integrating LLM-based applications, including the use of vector databases (such as FAISS, Pinecone, or Azure Cognitive Search).
• Familiarity with frameworks like, LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Pydantic and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience in setting up RAG pipelines to combine contextual business data with generative AI.Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• A good command of written and spoken English.
• Understanding of the maritime industry is a pre.
