- Develop, build, and deploy. AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), including integration with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Apply frameworks for building scalable and modular AI solutions.
- Take ownership of the quality and reliability of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (including vessel-related) to understand business requirements, translate them into technical AI solutions, and ensure effective communication to maintain alignment and progress.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the (Gen)AI field.
- Hands-on experience and/ or certifications using Databricks and/or Azure AI foundry for LLM utilization, data processing, exploration, and AI development.
- Strong skills in Python in the context of building and integrating LLM-based applications, including the use of vector databases (such as FAISS, Pinecone, or Azure Cognitive Search).
- Familiarity with frameworks like, LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Pydantic and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Experience in setting up RAG pipelines to combine contextual business data with generative AI.Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- A good command of written and spoken English.
- Understanding of the maritime industry is a pre.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to independently interact with end-users.
- Empathy for the business context: understanding the end-user's use case and actively thinking about how AI can deliver value in the short term.
- Ability to work independently on your own use case and translate technical possibilities into concrete solutions for business.
- A mindset geared towards continuous learning and curiosity for tackling new challenges.
- Ability to handle feedback and reset your course if needed.
