Optics11 recently closed a €17m investment round to accelerate its growth.As Project Manager, you will play a crucial role: delivering complex multidisciplinary projects in a professional and structured way, while also contributing to the professionalization of our project management organization. You will work closely with Sales to support quotations and commercial leads, ensuring the right operational and organizational commitment is in place for potential new contracts.Responsibilities:Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery, in a professional, structured manner.Act as a partner to Sales: support quotations, bid preparation, and commercial leads with project management input.Ensure early operational involvement and alignment for potential new contracts.Develop and implement project management standards, processes, and templates (e.g. PM Plan, Statement of Work, Planning docs).Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, R&D, and operations.Track timelines, budgets, risks, and milestones, and report to leadership and stakeholders.Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices within the company.What's in it for you?Innovative high tech, international organization.The opportunity to join a great team.A lot to learn and to develop, we stimulate personal development.A flat organization, the less hierarchy, the better.What We’re Looking For:5–10 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in high-tech or hardware-related environments.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field).Experience working at the interface of project delivery and commercial processes (e.g. supporting bids, quotations, and sales cases).Strong ability to create structure, processes, and standards within a growing organization.A hands-on mindset, combined with the ability to think strategically about professionalizing project management.Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).A collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.You'll be working with clients in the defence and security sectors, obtaining a Certificate of No Objection issued by the AIVD (Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory.
