Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to: Shift LeaderTogether with your colleagues, you are responsible for the entire machine park in the injection molding plant at ABB. Your main task is to monitor and manufacture products with injection molding machines, robots and other peripheral equipment. Every day is different within this dynamic organization. Tasks range from setting up a machine, changing a mold to adjusting a robot or checking quality.The work model for the role is: #LI-On-SiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification business area in The Netherlands. Main stakeholders are local product group manager and business office of our plant in Ede.You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Fixing technical malfunctions.
  • Registering production progress in SAP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
  • Taking care of (preventive) maintenance of the machines.
Our team dynamics:
The factory in Ede is the production location for low-voltage components. Products that make applications in buildings smarter. In the machine park of the injection molding plant, there are 3 shifts working 24 hours out of 5 days making all 600 products. Many types of materials are worked with in the factory. You will work together with other operators and the shift manager. Together with your team, you are responsible for safety of yourself and others in the factory. Following the 5S Lean program, you work with your colleagues on workplace optimization.Knowledge of injection molding.
Technical affinity
Willingness to share responsibility and work in a 3-shift operation.
Available to work a weekend shift once every 6 weeks.We offer:
