
Business Support Manager

- Lead the IT Support team, including Data Analysts and Key Users, to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to develop and implement system enhancements.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives and automation projects across departments.
- Ensure effective use of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems, and support user training and troubleshooting.
- Manage the Process Controllers and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate process monitoring and high service levels.
- Oversee the development and implementation of SOPs and KPIs to improve operational performance.
- Act as a liaison between operations and support functions to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
- Monitor and analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise the Transport Planners to ensure efficient and cost-effective transport planning.
- Collaborate with carriers and logistics partners to optimise delivery performance and cost.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and customer requirements.
- Work closely with Data Analysts to interpret operational data and generate actionable insights.
- Use dashboards and reports to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across departments.
- Lead initiatives to implement data-driven changes in operational processes, enhancing productivity and service quality.
- Promote a culture of data literacy and evidence-based decision-making within the support teams.
- Provide strategic direction and daily leadership to all Business Support teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, resources, and performance targets.
- Report regularly to senior management on departmental performance and improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for accomplishing results through management of multiple teams or senior professionals.
- Exercise control over resources, policy formulation and planning.
- Establish operational objectives for managers across related areas.
- Support day to day management activities: lead major customer projects as the GXO representative.
- Participate in daily error call and represent GXO Operations.
- Identify root cause for variances and close these gaps.
- Responsible for accomplishing results through management of multiple teams or senior professionals.
- Support day to day management activities: o Lead major customer projects as the GXO representative.
- Lead the design of GXO solutions to support customer requirements: Design changes, Process changes and BRD development.
- Solid background in logistics and supply chain (3PL background is a plus)
- Previous people management experience
- Previus experience in transport management and leading cross-functional projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills, analytical skills, strategic approach and ability to analyze trends, forecast and plan
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Dutch is an advantage
