\nWhat You'll Do
  • Build and lead a small team of royalty audit experts to maximize business impact for TomTom.
  • Create strong visibility and awareness of the royalty audit function across the organization. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Develop a strategic royalty audit plan and present it to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Translate the audit plan into a detailed budget and communicate it effectively to management.
  • Monitor the progress and outcomes of royalty audits to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize customer audits.
  • Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of external audit firms.
  • Drive the execution of a royalty audit roadmap that delivers meaningful, value-added results. Ensure high-quality planning and timely execution of audits, both internally and by external partners. Present clear, well-structured reports and findings to management and the audit committee.
  • Translate audit findings into actionable improvements in customer contracts.
What You'll Need
  • A Master's degree, ideally combined with a recognized professional qualification (e.g., RA, RO, RE, CIA, or CISA).
  • At least 5 years of experience conducting royalty audits, preferably within the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) industry or at a professional services firm (e.g., Big 4).
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team, with a focus on engagement and supervision.
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance or audit management roles.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to act as a key business partner.
  • A process-oriented, analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A self-starter who thrives under minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
What's Nice to Have
  • A strong interest in technology and its application to business process improvement.
  • Experience working in Shared Service Centers or Global Business Services environments.
