- Prepare and plate dishes to the highest standard, following our recipes, plating guides, and chef's direction
- Keep your section organised, well-stocked, and spotless - even during the busiest services
- Monitor the quality of every dish - taste, texture, temperature, and presentation
- Support consistency across the kitchen and take pride in sending out food you're proud of
- Take charge of mise en place, daily prep, and stock rotation using FIFO and HACCP standards
- Flag shortages and help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently
- Support your teammates during service
- Contribute ideas for new dishes, seasonal menus, and creative garnishes
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards - for yourself, your station, and your kitchen
- Culinary training - MBO Level 2 or higher (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Solid knowledge of core cooking techniques and food safety standards
- A natural sense of quality and presentation - you care about the details
- Strong organisation and time management, especially during busy service
- A team player who communicates well and supports others
