- Partner with global shared service teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery
- Establish clear, consistent processes for performance management, absence management, and employee lifecycle activities
- Support payroll accuracy and compliance across both countries
- Develop and implement robust HR processes and policies, including a comprehensive regional handbook
- Provide expert guidance on restructuring, redundancy processes, and change management
- Handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary processes
- Build credibility and trust within the organisation following recent operational changes
- Manage relationships with Works Councils across multiple sites, including regular consultation and information sharing
- Lead key HR process implementation including performance reviews, compensation planning, and development programmes
- Coach and support managers in people management best practices
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for country-specific needs and legislative requirements
- Partner closely with site leaders and management teams to execute people-related initiatives
- Support organisational change initiatives and culture development
- Execute regional people strategies aligned with global objectives
- Work collaboratively with global HR teams including Business Partners, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition
- Identify and propose both short-term and long-term HR interventions based on data analysis
- Experience working in matrixed, multi-national organisations
- Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and employment practices
- Solutions-oriented mindset with ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Fluent Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Works Council or similar consultation body experience
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills across all organisational levels
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience in employee relations including complex case management and investigations
- Minimum 5 years' HR generalist experience with broad exposure across multiple HR disciplines
- Strong project management capabilities
- Experience with shared service HR models
- Experience working with global HR systems and processes
- Knowledge of Belgian employment law and practices
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Experience in organisational change and transformation
