
People Experience Partner (HR for Netherlands and Belgium)

- Consult and collaborate with leaders to execute people-related initiatives around performance management, employee relations, coaching, employee engagement, culture, organizational change, organizational development/team effectiveness, career pathing, and learning & development.
- Pull through / execute on the strategic talent agenda set by the BU/Functional HR leaders (including workforce planning, succession, leadership development, talent acquisition, team effectiveness, etc.).
- Build solid relationships with leaders and assist them in finding appropriate HR solutions to meet their needs. Coach them to effectively manage and grow their teams, in alignment with organizational goals, values, competencies, and policies/procedures.
- Lead key people process implementation (performance management, compensation planning, development planning, etc.) throughout assigned sites/functions/business units.
- Partner with our HR Centers of Excellence teams to deliver seamless human resources processes and programs across the organization.
- Improve and apply HR processes, policies and standards, meeting local and federal employment laws.
- Partner with business stakeholders and HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs, including progressive discipline. Handle employee complaints, manage grievance procedures and facilitate counseling in conjunction with other stakeholders. Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Identify root causes and conduct relevant data analysis in order to propose both short-term and long-term HR interventions and solutions that benefit client groups.
- 5+ year experience within an HR function; broad HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
- Prior experiencing working in a large, multi-national, heavily matrixed company is strongly preferred, ideally as part of a manufacturing company. Experience working across all levels of the organization and globally.
- Strong knowledge of local employment practices, laws, regulations, unions and work councils (where applicable)
- Ability to leverage resources, escalate and redirect work within a global HR model (across COEs, AskHR, HRBP, etc.)
- Prior experience advising clients on HR matters, including the investigation and resolution of complex employee relations matters
- Ability to effectively influence and work through others. Must have a solutions orientation and be able to develop “win/win” solutions that support business initiatives and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work in and manage ambiguity – dealing with issues that do not always have a process or a system in place. Ability to provide creative solutions and unique approaches to HR/business challenges
- Ability to position self as credible (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); proactive (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought partner (builds relationships, delivers results)
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong prioritization skills
- Independent work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal supervision
