Then we’d love to meet you.Your Role as Global Director Mobility & InfrastructureAs Global Director, you will shape the future of mobility and infrastructure – both in the Netherlands and internationally. You will translate our corporate strategy into an inspiring direction for the Business Line Mobility & Infrastructure (M&I), focusing on three leading markets: Mobility, Tunnels & Structures, and Aviation. You’ll work closely with our Global Leading Markets (GLMs), leveraging our strong national position as a foundation for international growth.M&I is deeply rooted in the Dutch market and plays a key role in addressing societal challenges – from the energy transition to sustainable mobility and future-proof infrastructure. Our clients range from national and local governments to Schiphol Airport, NS, developers, and contractors. M&I also manages key account relationships for these client groups. Our involvement spans from early policy exploration to realization, management, and maintenance of assets – always considering the interplay between technology, the living environment, and societal value.In this role, you are not only the leader of your business line but also an active co-architect of Haskoning as a whole. You prioritize the organization’s interests over short-term results and collaborate actively with other business lines and strategic partners. You foster a culture of trust, transparency, and shared ambition, and contribute to the development of future leadership within our organization.You will translate our strategic pillars – Enhancing Society Together, Invest in People, Grow in Leading Markets, Focus on Clients, and Innovate & Deliver – into concrete decisions and inspiring leadership.   • Innovate & Deliver: You have a sharp eye for technological developments and their impact on the sector. With your experience in technology, engineering, and consultancy, you create an environment where innovation thrives. You encourage teams to work with smart digital solutions such as industrial automation, AI, machine learning, and parametric and generative design.
  • Grow in Leading Markets: You develop distinctive propositions and know how to position them effectively in the market. You open doors at the highest level and drive growth through strategic partnerships and C-level client relationships.
  • Invest in People: As a visionary leader, you effectively implement strategy. You have proven experience in building strong, diverse teams and uniting people around shared goals. You guide future leadership through coaching, mentoring, and sponsorship.
  • Focus on Clients: You combine technical expertise with creativity and know how to realize sustainable infrastructure together with clients, partners, and stakeholders. You lead integrated design processes with a strong focus on digital technology, such as digital twins and sensors, ensuring smooth translation from vision to results.
What You BringYou are an entrepreneurial and strategic leader with a clear vision and strong sense of direction. You combine results orientation with people-centered leadership and know how to create momentum – within your business line and beyond. You have an academic background and extensive experience managing complex projects in engineering, consultancy, and/or technology.You are visible in the market and know how to take the stage when needed. You represent Haskoning and M&I with conviction and actively contribute to strengthening our position as a leading engineering firm in the Netherlands and beyond. You have a strong executive-level network and know how to use it effectively – both to strengthen relationships and solve strategic challenges.You have a clear vision of market developments and technological innovations, including AI and digitalization, and know how to translate these into new working methods and propositions. You understand the power of integrated collaboration and know how to bring together different areas of expertise in complex projects – from strategic consultancy to high-end engineering, from initial exploration to realization and management.Within M&I, you foster entrepreneurship and development. You use a facilitative leadership style to support the five business units within the business line in their growth and collaboration.
