The OPS Excellence Manager is responsible for driving standardization of business & system processes across the Global Cold Stores. Translating business requirements into new features in the Maersk Cold Storage. Position ensures the operating procedures are aligned with an aim to ensure we meet customer regulatory compliance requirements. Role develops and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and is expected to direct the strategic implementation projects of Cold stores across the world.Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive standardization and centralization of business and system processes for Cold Store assets.
  • Develop Cold Storage operating manual and support definition of the Business Requirements Document (BRD)
  • Support strategic operational implementation planning and execution of Cold Stores globally
  • Support new site and current site WMS migration projects to drive PnL improvement
  • Drive operational Quality initiatives, such as adopting Quality and Food Safety Management Systems
  • Enable operational improvements to promote regulatory and customer requirements through certifications (ISO, BRC, etc.)
  • Participate in Kaizen events for cold storage facilities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure the operational platform remains up-to-date based on required improvements
  • Prioritize, plan and support testing and implementing new system release and developments for Cold store facilities
  • Support the business during go-live events for new business and/or systems, including hyper care support
  • Ensure processes are properly documented, stored and shared to business unit through the creation of SOPs for CST operations.
  • Responsible for process governance and adherence to defined standard operating processes
  • Lead training and upskilling of the operational stakeholders in the cold storage business
  • Provide system training and user support to Cold Store facilities globally.
  • Promote safe ways of working in cold storage operations
Who we are looking for:
  • Operational experience in cold storage environments is a must
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities
  • Ability to translate complex issues into action
  • Strong Stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills
  • Understanding Continuous Improvement, project & implementation management methodologies
