Increasingly recognised for creating some of the world’s most sought-after properties, the Group provides legendary service inspired by Asian heritage whilst representing the very cutting-edge of luxury experiences.Join us during this exciting period as the Conservatorium Hotel transitions to Mandarin Oriental by early 2026.As Director of People & Culture you will be responsible for the following duties:Lead and execute the hotel’s People & Culture strategy, aligning it with business goals and Mandarin Oriental standards.Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and colleague relations.Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives, grievance management, and employee well-being programs.Partner with department heads on workforce planning, organizational development, and performance management.Ensure legal compliance, including labour law adherence, employment contracts, and safety & health policies.Drive training and career development programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and internal promotions.Monitor HR systems, metrics, and processes for efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.As Director of People & Culture we expect from you:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.Proven experience in senior HR leadership, ideally within luxury hospitality or international environments.Fluent in English and Dutch with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership, influencing, and organizational abilities with a strategic mindset.In-depth knowledge of Dutch labour laws, HR practices, and compliance standards.High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.Passionate about creating an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.Our commitment to you:A salary in scale X of the Dutch Horeca CAO;Excellent career progression with an iconic, luxury, global hotel brand.
