As an OT Engineer you will be the link between operational technology and production processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will manage, maintain, and optimize automation systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across complex installations.Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize SCADA systems (mainly Wonderware/AVEVA).
- Configure, test, and maintain PLC systems (Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal).
- Perform I/O tests, signaling checks, and hardware configurations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and network structures.
- Support FAT/SAT testing and commissioning of new installations.
- Maintain documentation and version control for software and hardware.
- Advise on and implement process improvements and standards.
- Collaborate with contractors and internal teams (production, technical services).Requirements
- MBO+/HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent.
- 2-3 years' experience in automation/IT-OT environments.
- Proven experience with Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and SCADA Wonderware.
- Knowledge of field instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, actuators).
- Experience with documentation and version management.
- Affinity with process technology and industrial processes.
- Fluent in Dutch (required).Other Information
