We are looking for a;Tactical Buyer - Indirect CategoriesBased in: Breda (hybrid)This is where we need you!The function of Tactical Buyer Indirect categories is located within the Purchasing department and reports to the position of Purchasing Manager BLX. This position will bring you the challenge to professionalize these categories.The primary scope for this role will be local indirect spend, for example:

This is what your fresh start as Tactical Buyer will look likeThe Tactical Buyer Indirect categories is responsible for the negotiation with suppliers and the contracts for the provision of materials and services. The Tactical Buyer Indirect categories has knowledge of market analysis, building relationships with Suppliers, price negotiations, inventory and supply chain management, as well as anticipating and monitoring market trends to achieve company goals. The role acts as an intermediary between the supplier and the user (Facilities, HR, Engineering and other departments). The position also works continuously with end users as reference for different tenders and ongoing business.Your core tasks in a nutshell

Responsible for the purchasing and contract management process of products and services related to the category.

Responsible for Sourcing: conditions, research, supplier selection, RFI/RFQ, contract negotiation, management contract, supplier management

Optimizing costs, inventories and securing the proper availability of products related to the factory.

Report and analyze supplier performance information - scorecards, SLAs, and KPIs etc. with the purpose to drive continuous improvements and leverage decision making;

Identify opportunities that focus on cost reductions, efficiencies/quality improvements, risk mitigation, industry and supply trends and shifts in technology;

Exhibit and act with integrity by maintaining compliance with internal policies, procedures and all regulatory and governmental regulations and laws.

Support colleagues of the purchasing department whenever needed.

Responsible for the resolution of Invoice queries related to pricing

Be an escalation point for any cost / contractual issues with Suppliers where further escalation is required.

Market monitoring and business analysis: Tracking market developments and performing analysis to support strategic decisions.

The ideal recipe for our Tactical buyerWe may not have to tell you that you are strong in stakeholder relationships with excellent communication skills (but we do it to be sure!). These are, in our opinion, the ideal ingredients to make this role a success:

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Commerce

Did you get certified for NEVI I? That's great! • Project Management knowledge: Has a VCA certificate will be a plus;

You have about 2-3 years of experience in Procurement specifically within the indirect (Facilities/HR) category;

You are pragmatic and action-oriented and you have the ability to translate business needs into solutions;

You have the ability to work under pressure, think quickly and demonstrate initiative in solving problems;

You are result driven and have excellent analytical skills; • You are fluent in English, verbal and written (Dutch is desired
