Flowserve is looking for a Tactical Buyer; a professional who wants to work on multiple technical projects for our engineered Auxiliary Systems. In this role you will maintain or build strong collaborations with our manufacturing partners. You will help to achieve our team goals by guaranteeing the purchase of subcontracted components and services at the best conditions of price, quality and deadlines. In this role you will develop and implement purchasing strategies, with the goal of increasing our profitability and our on-time delivery.Your roleIn your role you will negotiate the best commercial conditions for Flowserve, while maximizing the collaboration with our Business Partners.During the execution of the orders, you proactively identify and resolve issues – ensuring excellent fulfilment of our contractual obligations.You will coordinate the improvement process with the suppliers, to drive continuous improvements on the overall performance.Your profileYou hold a Bachelor (HBO) Degree with at least 2 years experience or a Vocational (MBO) with 5 years experienceWork experience in a technical industrial environmentKnowledge and implementation at the purchasing level of technical requirements and qualityGood command of the Dutch and English languageDemonstrable experience of the main purchasing areas: negotiations, evaluation and development of suppliers, supplier quality, logistics etc.Knowledge of the requirements of our marketsWhat we offerVariety in your work and responsibility, a team with a great spirit.We apply the CLA Metal and have good secondary employment conditions8% holiday pay, 5% end-of-year bonus, 27 vacation days, 13 ADV days and a good pension schemeWe offer you a pleasant and informal working environment
